How to Access Facebook from China
So you are in China and Facebook, Twitter and many other sites are blocked that you’d like to access. It sucks, I know, I’ve been there and not having Facebook seems like a joke at first, but for me, it is one of the only ways I can stay in touch with friends and family back home. Everything is fine now, and you too can access any websites from China and start catching up with your friends on Facebook with these steps.
Change your China IP address
To do this you’ll need to find a sever to connect to as a middle man. I’ve searched and found several different options, while some cost $20+ and others were very slow, the best one I found was actually one of the cheapest and several other expats used it as well. It basically has the most customers, which in return allows you to choose between hundreds of servers, so you’ll always be on the fastest – Virtual Private Network.
Connect to a non China IP
Pick a login, and then simply connect to a different server. Once you’re connected to a different server your ip address will be that of the new server and you can then virtual surf the internet as if you were not in China.
Accessing Facebook in China
Simply load Facebook or Twitter or any other site that was normally banned in China and you will be able access it any time you wish. Just remember that there are still some countries that block Facebook or other websites, if Facebook is still blocked, then just change the server. You can choose to connect from many USA servers, European severs, or virtually anywhere in the world as long as you choose the right virtual private network.
You can also do this to access Facebook from Vietnam, Bangladesh, Iran, Pakistan, Uzbekistan or even from your work or office. Facebook should not be blocked or banned, make sure you spread the word so anyone can have access to Facebook.
