The word “psychic” is often misunderstood. We all have psychic abilities. Psychics, on the other hand, are persons who choose to develop these abilities, usually with the goal to do psychic readings.
How to begin the process. The three prerequisites for becoming a Psychic reader are clarity, balance and open mindedness. Start by looking inside yourself. Clarity means that you are able to remove all unwanted and unnecessary thoughts from your mind. This is essential because you want to receive information from your client. You would not be able to do this if your mind is cluttered or busy. Start by doing some meditations. You can use props such as a lit candle or a crystal ball. The next step is visualization. Take an object, study it in detail. Then close your eyes and try to see it in your mind’s eye. Try to recall as many details as possible. If you cannot visualize, use your imagination to recall the object. These two exercises will strengthen your clarity of mind.
Next, you must have a balanced personality. Do not attempt Psychic Readings if you have personal issues that dominate your life. Deal with them and clear them from your mind. This issue goes along with clarity. You will not have a clear mind to do your readings if you have your own baggage to handle.
Keep and open mind. The universe does not always operate according to our perceptions. The one constant is “change.” If we look for answers and solutions to our problems using conventional logic, we soon will discover that this does not work. When we go into the psychic realm, we enter another level of consciousness. That requires a mastery of the basic psychic skills.
Practical Exercises. Start with your intuition. Ask yourself: how often is my intuition guiding me to the right answer. To test this, take a deck of cards, shuffle them and place them face down. Then, focus on the top card and try to intuit the color, red or black. Write your score in your notebook. Keep trying this and recording your results. Note your improvements. If you want to make the exercise more demanding take out a set of face cards, an ace and a ten. Place them face down and try to intuit which one it is. You can make it even more demanding by trying to intuit both the suit and the color.
You can start by learning to read the tarot cards. The deck is made up of 78 cards 56 minor and 22 major arcana. Shuffle the cards and meditate on each one as your deal it. Then try to do a reading on another person.
Next, choose a partner. Find someone who has similar beliefs. Then ask the person think of an object or another person. Go into a meditative state, clear your mind of all thoughts and try to intuit any feelings or impressions you make receive. Remember, what you get may not be a specific detail rather it may be just a feeling. Go with that feeling. Let it resonate in your subconscious. For example, it may be the color of the person’s hair, or a smell such as a cooking odor. This is telling you about the person, that he/she may like cooking or has red hair. The more you do this the more proficient you will become and the more details you will bring forth.
You will come to a point of “readiness” for your first reading. Do not be afraid to make a mistake. As with any profession becoming a great psychic takes practice and skill. At some point you will be able to know the answer to your client’s questions even before you start the reading. We often refer to this psychic as a clairvoyant, one who “sees” before the fact.
Stan Smith is a famous writer from UK, and he wrotes many articles on Psychic Readings.
